Joining Directions has allowed us to benefit from the funding and immense support of the European Social Fund (ESF). ESF funding will allow us to reach a greater amount of people, helping the LCR one learner at a time.
We are proud to be working on the ESF Directions project to help acheive important social mobility goals within the Liverpool City Region. The programme, overseen by the European Social Fund and funded by the DWP, facilitates a number of different support businesses to come together as a network. We aim to support those who are struggling with low income and/or skills through their employment journey.
The overall aim of the project is to help 2,000 Liverpool residents achieve either paid or volunteer work. The Women’s Organisation, local to Liverpool, will work as the accountable body of the programme, overseeing regulations and result submission. Social mobility is something we already believe in strongly at Innovative Alliance, so we look forward to working towards this goal with all of the other wonderful organisations that are a part of ESF Directions,
