Enhancing career prospects through online training with Innovative Alliance.

Kindah Alo came to Innovative Alliance with a different background. She was previously studying her level 1 and 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. Kindah gained experience working with young people in the community. She spoke with young people about issues troubling them. For instance, topics on racism and bullying.
Feeling like something was missing, Kindah set out to identify what her next steps might be. She first learned about the Level 1 Health and Social Care course through her local JCP. Kindah then decided the course would be a good opportunity to enhance her career prospects.
The course covers a range of modules and helps prepare learners to progress into a career in Health and Social Care.
Modules include topics such as:
- Supporting people with mental health
- Understanding the principles and values in health and social care
- Safeguarding in health and social care
As a result, the course helped Kindah improve her communication skills. This aided her in developing the ability to work as well as debate within a group setting.
Speaking about her experience on the course, she said;
‘’This was a very good experience, I gained so much information. The delivery of the course was great. The information was accessible and easy to understand.’’
Additionally, Kindah was supported by her tutor throughout the entirety of the course. Mark offered support and guidance on the options available to Kindah upon completion of the course.
‘’Mark was very understanding and helpful, he answered all my questions.’’
Kindah said she would highly recommend the adult training provider to family and friends.
This was also the first time Kindah completed a course with IA. Consequently, Kindah is now planning to complete her Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
